Exploring Katie Lam

... analysis of a former head girl

The tone of this post is neither to extol Katie Lam’s loveliness, nor to promote her, nor to vilify her but to explore her tale, to find out about any WEFerness, to look at any grooming for high office, to see if she’s been prepared as the Establishment’s alternative to finally, theatrically expose Farage as a charlatan.

Is she heir to Penny Mordor who was too greatly aligned with Them above? Also, why is she not more championed by the right wing soc-med, given her stance on the grating replacement, nor overly vilified by the Guardianisti?

Katie Lam (34) is a British Conservative politician, Member of Parliament for Weald of Kent, and a prominent figure in the Conservative Party. Before her election in 2024, she had a highly notable career in both the financial/tech sectors and high-level government, notably serving as Deputy Chief of Staff to Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

The daughter of Stephen Lam and his wife Mary Delahunty, Lam’s paternal grandfather’s family is of Dutch Jewish descent and her paternal grandmother’s family were from Germany and included a left-wing senator representing Saxony. Her grandmother’s family moved as refugees to England to escape political persecution. Most of her grandfather’s family was killed in the Holocaust. Her father’s parents Martin Lam and Lisa Lorenz met while delivering leaflets for the Labour Party in the 1940s and were married at Hendon in 1953.

Lam was educated at her local comprehensive, Guildford County School, where she was head girl. The school did not teach Latin or Greek, so she learned those independently, going on to study classics at Trinity College, Cambridge.

While at Cambridge she was elected president of the Cambridge Union and chairman of the Cambridge University Conservative Association. As president of the Union she was criticised by women’s groups for inviting Dominique Strauss-Kahn after he had resigned after being accused of sexual assault. She defended the decision saying “He hasn’t been found guilty of anything and it’s not up to us to judge him.”

Political and Government Career

• Member of Parliament: Elected in July 2024 as the very first MP for the new Weald of Kent constituency.

• Shadow Home Office Minister: Serves as a key opposition minister, frequently recognized for her outspoken stance on securing borders and tackling grooming gangs.

Senior Government Roles

• Advised the Home Secretary on national security and previously led the Prime Minister’s Business Team at 10 Downing Street.

Private Sector Background

• Finance: Spent six years at Goldman Sachs, rising from intern to Vice President in equity research.

• Technology: Served as Chief of Staff at the prominent artificial intelligence company Faculty. Creative and Personal Pursuits

Outside of politics, Lam is an accomplished, award-winning musical lyricist and scriptwriter, having co-written several musicals performed on the West End. She studied Classics at Trinity College, Cambridge, where she served as President of the Cambridge Union.

According to The Guardian in 2025 she is a “disciple” of Dominic Cummings and a “rising star” in the Conservative Party, tipped as a future leader.

Her political positioning is generally considered firmly on the right wing of the Conservative Party, and she is a vocal critic of the types of globalist or establishment policies often associated with the WEF, such as stringent Net Zero goals and heavy corporate diversity regulations.

The things which immediately struck me were that she has “head girl” written all over her, the one most likely to do well. Three reasons I know this is that I’ve known a (subsequent) head girl for all but ten of my own years (still in touch) ... and had a full on girlfriend at 15 with a (subsequent) head girl one year younger (still in touch) ... plus another head girl where I later taught who was briefly doing my ironing for a financial consideration until peer pressure eventually caused her to cease on feminist grounds.

And Katie Lam has head girl written all over her. It means someone social adept, impeccably credentialled, with a happy disposition but a certain naivety due to generally getting things her own way. One of the three mentioned in the previous paragraph had a nickname of Little Miss Thundercloud .. she is also naively left-liberal on most stances, even now.

The essential question for us, as her potential employer as our new PM, is ... does she have what it takes to do Rupert’s job ... is she better placed to actually assume office, being more personable to many? Could she handle the broader job of everything that being PM entails? And if so ... when?
